This white-blazed trail is only 0.35 miles in length, however, it is moderately difficult. Trail is appropriately named due to the ever changing smooth to rocky terrain. Combined with Ridge Trail, the hiker can make a loop to State Line Overlook.
Directions: From Haysi, VA, Breaks Interstate Park is 7 miles east of Elkhorn City, Kentucky and 8 miles north of Haysi, Virginia on Rt. 80. Detailed trail maps are available at park office.
