The nearly 2,000 feet elevation of Clinch Overlook is a highlight of this trail. The trail is quite scenic but difficult. The path travels along cliff edges making this a hazardous walk for children. It is blazed with green markings and is a short 0.75-mile hike. Tip: Viewing fall tree foliage is absolutely breathtaking from this trail.

Directions: From Haysi, VA, Breaks Interstate Park is 7 miles east of Elkhorn City, Kentucky and 8 miles north of Haysi, Virginia on Rt. 80. Trail begins at Clinch Overlook. Detailed trail maps are available at the park office.
