Lake Trail is only 0.5-mile, blazed in orange and considered an easy walk. The trail weaves in and out around Laurel Lake. This trail connects the dock and pool areas and joins the Laurel Branch Trail.

Directions: From Haysi, VA, Breaks Interstate Park is 7 miles east of Elkhorn City, Kentucky and 8 miles north of Haysi, Virginia on Rt. 80. Trail may be accessed at three locations; the visitor center, the dam and Potter's Knoll. Detailed trail maps are available at park office.
