Sawmill Trail is located on the western tip of the park just west of the dam. It is divided into two loops. The trail begins on designated hunting land and the closer you get to the dam along the upper loop, you travel onto "No Hunting Area." Much of the trail saddles Sawmill Run Creek. The trail is strictly a footpath.

Directions: From Lehighton, PA, Just off U.S. Route 209, 5 miles east of Lehighton, Beltzville State Park is accessible from the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, immediately off turnpike Exit 34. After passing through toll booth, follow the signs to the park traveling eastbound. Take Old Mill Road and park in the lot immediately upon entering park property. Trailhead is there.
