The Windsor Trail offers four features in addition to the summit. They include: Gerry Falls at .8 mile; Blood Rock Vista at 1.7 miles; Castle Rock at 2.4 miles; and Brownsville Rock at 2.5 miles. The summit is reached at 2.7 miles.
The Futures Trail joins Windsor Trail to carry the hiker to the summit. Several small trails bisect the forest serving as a short-cut to other ridge trails.
Directions: From Ascutney, VT, Travel to Interstate 91 (Exit 8). Travel 2 miles north on US 5. Bear left onto SR 44A and travel northwest. At 1 mile, you will see the park entrance. Continue on for another 1.6. The parking area and first 1.5 miles of trail are on private land.
