Weathersfield Trail has five distinct features including two waterfalls, two overlooks and of course, the summit of Mt. Ascutney.

This is a wonderful path offering spectacular scenery. When you begin the trail, you'll be treated to sights of Little Cascade Falls. The trail carries you to an even more impressive falls, Crystal Cascade Falls with a drop measuring 84 feet. A lookout is offered at 2.3 miles and again at 2.5 miles. The summit is reached at 2.9 miles.

Directions: From Ascutney, VT, Travel to Interstate 91 (Exit 8). Travel west along SR 131 about 3.5 miles. Turn right onto Cascade Falls Road and follow signs.

Elevation: 3,150 feet

Elevation Gain: 2,600 feet

Difficulty: Strenuous
