- Don't forget to bring a lightweight daypack. When headed to undeveloped beaches, you can pick up picnic supplies at Starfish Market, a well-stocked deli in Cruz Bay.
- An interpretive ranger with the park service guides small groups down the Reef Bay Trail several times a week. For a small per-person fee, those who prefer to skip the return hike can board a prearranged boat on the beach that provides a transfer back to Cruz Bay (reservations required).
