A short hike by the nature center and access to the long distance Buckeye Trail signify the extent of trails available at Wolf Run State Park.

A 3 mile section of the Buckeye Trail passes along the west side of the lake. Parking is available at the dam. A half-mile loop trail begins at the nature center providing opportunities for nature study and wildlife observation. Cross-country skiers are invited to use the trails in winter.

Directions: From Caldwell, OH, Take Interstate 77 north several miles. Signs on the Interstate direct you off onto State Route 215. Head east into the park. Buckeye Trail may be accessed by the dam. Cherry Tree Trail is located by the nature center / park entrance.
