This scenic trail begins from the dam parking lot found on County Route 54. Cross the footbridge below the spillway and you'll see the well worn path traveling around the southern edge of the lake. This enjoyable trail spills you onto North Shore Trail. You may either continue on that loop trail in either direction or retrace your steps back to the dam / parking area. Trail can flood during high rains. Picnic tables offer nice location to sit and contemplate.
Directions: From Richmond, OH, Travel west on State Route 43 for 1 mile. Turn right (north) onto County Road 54. Drive 1.7 miles to the park entrance. Park in the lot across from the dam (CR 54).
