The trailhead is located in the parking lot at the north end of Township Road 189. The hike heads north into an expansive meadow. Turn left at the first trail junction. This blue-blazed trail has several options as it traverses through a previously strip-mined area. Several fishing ponds entice anglers who don't mind hiking. Shortly after turning left onto Deep Hollow Trail, a spur loop dips south skirting the edge of another small fishing pond then winds north to re-enter Deep Hollow Trail. Deep Hollow Trail offers sights of beautiful sandstone and picturesque woodland. Near the end of the trail, bear right to reach another pond. Retrace steps back to trailhead parking. Equestrians welcome!
