Starr Mountain Spur #190A. is an easy 1.7 mile trail. This extension gives hikers a chance to view the Gee Creek/Oswald Dome region from a craggy overlook. Caution is needed at the end of the trail because of the cliff face.

Directions: From Etowah, Travel south on Hwy. 411 to Wetmore. Turn left on County Road #163. Cross railroad tracks and bear right continuing on to the Forest Boundary and FDR #2014. Proceed to the parking lot (a dead end) and the trail begins near the gate on the right. This also serves the Starr Mountain Trail 190.

Difficulty: Easy
