The Spanking Stump Interpretive Trail #169 is an easy 0.25 mile trail. This loop tail begins at the wooded area found along the trail. This is an easy trail with several foot bridges to accommodate any skill level hiker.

Directions: From Etowah, Travel south on Hwy. 411 to Hwy. 30 east. Turn left onto Hwy. 30 east and travel 1.6 miles to the Quinn Springs Recreation Area. Turn right and then immediately left into the parking lot. Follow signs to Oswald Dome Trail #80 for access to Spanking Stump Trail. Parking is available at the Quinn Springs Shelter.
