The Consauga Falls Trail #170 is a moderately difficult 0.84 mile trail. This trail offers hikers an opportunity to view two distinct forest types. You will travel along a pine ridge where wildfire has altered the vegetation and habitat and pass through a hollow where older hemlocks grow. The 30 foot Conasauga Falls offers excellent photographic opportunities.

Directions: From Etowah, Travel east on Mecca Pike (Hwy. 310) to the junction of Hwy. 68 in Tellico Plains. Turn right and follow Hwy. 68 south for three miles. Turn right on old Hwy. 68 and travel 1.1 miles to FDR #341. Follow #341 for 1.3 miles to FDR #341A and continue on this road for 0.6 miles to the trailhead on the left.
