Warrior's Path Trail is a moderate easy trail which leads to Plantation Trail and as of recent, to the new 15-mile multi-use trail. The trail is mostly wooded offering an opportunity to hear woodpeckers and songbirds. Accessed from the main park road, the path is blaze orange and open primarily to hikers but now offers an extension to mountain bikers wishing to travel from the main boat launch / concession area over to Panhandle Trail (the new 15-mile trail).
Directions: From Clarksville, VA, Occoneechee State Park is on U.S. 58, 1.5 miles east of Clarksville in Mecklenburg County which rests on the North Carolina border. After entering the park, turn right traveling to the main boat launch area. Park in the top (third) tier at the back of the lot. The trail is well marked in the back corner.
