This short little trail may be accessed from the eastern side of Campground B taking the hiker to the historic Plantation Trail that features interpretive signage and sites of a rock foundation. Scenery along the trail includes a variety of hardwoods and funneled glimpses of the lake.
Directions: From Clarksville, VA, Occoneechee State Park is on U.S. 58, 1.5 miles east of Clarksville in Mecklenburg County which rests on the North Carolina border. After entering the park, turn left and follow the main road until you come to the first road on right. After you turn right, you will see a parking area. Continuing straight takes you to Campground B where this trail may be accessed.
