Lowe's Motor Speedway is a superspeedway that features a 1.5 mile long quad-oval track and is considered the center of NASCAR. Built in 1959, it is one of the largest sports facilities in the Southeast, seating nearly over 165,000 spectators. A number of commercials and motion picture are also shot here, and the facility also offers year round residences.
