You may find a bit of a wait at this popular waterfront restaurant, in a white wooden two-story house with timber floors and outdoor decks. True to its name, you won't find any critters from the land here, but you will find creative seafood dishes like local hapuka fish, chargrilled and served with sundried capsicum warmed in walnut oil, or king prawns sautéed with a chili garlic and Chinese parsley sauce. A relaxed and informal atmosphere that is popular with the locals. The views of the surrounding bay are incredible, making it also the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail.
