Saugerties Lighthouse overlooks the Hudson River, Catskill Mountains, and Magdalen and Cruger Islands. A half-mile nature trail beginning at Lighthouse Drive is a scenic route to the lighthouse. Visitors can spend the day swimming, bird-watching, or enjoying a homemade picnic.
