Dating back to 1765, this historic farm, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been restored to represent a North Fork farm of the late 19th century. Classes, exhibits, and docent-guided walking tours offer a glimpse of Long Island farm life in the 1880s and 1890s.

More than 18 historic houses, barns, and outbuildings can be found on the 28-acre farm, including the mid-18th century Hallock Homestead and the Depression-era Chichanowitcz Farmhouse. Guests can walk through the exhibits, visit the gardens and friendly livestock including sheep, cows, and chickens, and learn more about what life was like for the farmers who once worked and lived in these historic buildings. A gift shop offers local goods like hand-thrown pottery, birdhouses, candles, wooden toys, sewn, crocheted, and knitted clothing, and framed pictures of local buildings and landscapes.
