Montauk Point State Park is a heavily-wooded area on the eastern tip of Long Island that features the historic Montauk Lighthouse and offers some of the best surf fishing in the world. Visitors to the park can use the nature trails to hike or cross-country ski, or watch seals on the rocks offshore.
