Hike to the top of 1,702-foot Bell Mountain, one of Missouri's highest points, on the Bell Mountain Trail. This 12-mile round trip passes through the Bell Mountain Wilderness Area, a 9,000-acre pocket of oak-hickory forest and pristine Ozark streams. From the top you'll get an uninterrupted view of the surrounding area, most likely all to yourself. And with a 1,700-foot vertical rise, this hike will put you through your paces.
