• Divers have been flying off cliffs in Mazatlan since 1961. They dive daily, usually at least twice, but times are not necessarily predictable except that they more or less coincide with the arrival of tour busses.
• Mazatlan's divers truly defy death as they soar off a 45-foot tower into five feet of water in an area less than 15 square feet.
• While there's no charge to watch them if you just walk up to the tower area, the divers do depend on gratuities, so if you're impressed, reward them.
