FamilyExpert Tips & Helpful Hints
- Cenotes are underground pools and waterways, mostly collapsed limestone caves, found throughout the Yucatan Peninsula. These are real, not simulated or constructed for tourists, and they are lovely.
- There are tourist activities offered here including a zip line, rappelling, and a "SkyCycle."
- Children 12 and younger get a discount. There's child-sized snorkel gear and a smaller "SkyCycle" for kids; children can also be tethered to adults for some of the activities if they're too young to do them on their own.
