Located 30 minutes from the coast of Cancun, the Cave of the Sleeping Sharks was discovered in 1969 and today is one of the Caribbean's most noted dive sites. The cave lies in 15 to 35 feet of water and is formed by coraline formations with inner chambers where the sharks remain sleeping and divers can get close to them.
