Located at the southern tip of Isla Mujeres, Garrafon Natural Reef Park is a tropical playground for visitors seeking excitement in and out of the water. White beaches fringe the blue-green sea, which on any given day is filled with snorkelers, swimmers, and kayakers. As if the natural scenery isn't spectacular enough, the park features an outdoor sculpture garden designed by artists from around the world.

Here, they can fly across a zip-line nearly 100 feet above sea level and scale the 50-foot Climbing Tower. The must-trek-to destination for hikers is Punta Sur. At the edge of steep cliffs on the island's southern tip, the views of Cancun are phenomenal. Of course, there's no shame in spending an entire afternoon by the tranquil sea, especially holed up in one of the park's silky hammocks.
