Looking for a vacation splurge? If you have ever wanted to swim with dolphins, this is the time. The program is very professional and all participants attend an info session before meeting the dolphins. Most of the staff speaks English well. The fact that it's in the center of town and on the beach near many hotels means you can walk or bike. Families can choose from five options, depending on the age of your kids and whether or not you want to meet and greet the dolphins, too (and pay for the experience). Baby Dolphin is for up to age three with a parent, and Family Dolphin is for two parents and a child; both programs include ten minutes in the water. With Delfiniti Kids, children ages three to seven with an adult get 20 minutes in the water, the same as the Encounter option for ages eight and up, no parent required and no real swimming. The longest water time, and thus the most expensive, is the Dolphin Swim, which includes 45 minutes of interacting with the dolphins who will push you through the water by your feet.
