• Swim with the fishes—Los Arcos is a national marine reserve containing several rocky islands and underwater reefs, arches, and caves that are home to all types of fish.
• Book snorkeling trips and rent gear at La Jolla de Mismaloya hotel or from independent operators on the beach and in town.
• Don't get lost; if you're catching a minibus, be sure it says Mismaloya in front, as other southbound buses don't go all the way there.
