- The park has a small one-acre fishing pond, which is stocked each spring. If you have young kids, bring along a rod and bait and introduce them to the sport. A Maryland freshwater fishing license is required for anyone 16 years and older (a sportfishing license is also required for Bay fishing at the beach).
