The 41-foot-tall lighthouse is not open to the public, but visitors can get a great view from the parking lot and telescope at Sohier Park.

  • Known locally as "The Nubble Light" this historic lighthouse is one of the most picturesque in Maine.
  • The light is on a outcrop of rock just off the mainland and a shoreside park allows viewing of the lighthouse.
  • A visit to the light would not be complete without a stop at the Cape Neddick lobster pound for steamed lobster or clams. Or both.
