This 10.5 mile loop winds through hilly terrain. A variety of wildlife may by seen: deer, turkeys, raccoons, opossums, beaver, turtles, snakes, and armadillos. Bird watchers may see woodpeckers, warblers, and other bird species favoring forest habitat. The trailhead parking lot is located near the entrance to Clear Springs Recreation Area. The trail can also be accessed from several locations near Clear Springs Recreation Area. This trail is open to hikers as well as mountain bikers. Mountain bikers will find that this trail is a more difficult to most difficult trail. No user fees.
The trail is not handicapped accessible.

Directions: From Meadville, Travel 4.6 miles west on Highway 84. Turn south on County Road 104, go 4.1 miles to the Clear Springs Recreation Area entrance. The trailhead is located near the entrance to the recreation area.
