• The Silvermine Arch Trail descends to a wide arch backed by a tall bluff. It can be accessed from Koomer Ridge Campground, the best overnighting venue in the Red River Gorge area.
• Start at the trailhead parking lot and travel along the north side of the campground, and continue down steep stairs to reach the arch.
• Since the path is only .9 mile long, consider going to other arches via trails at the same trailhead, including Hidden Arch. Additionally, the Cliff Trail offers great vistas.
