Playa Brava is one of the main beaches near downtown on the Atlantic side. Like the neighboring downtown beaches, it can get crowded as a result of the high-rises lining the waterfront. It is a long beach, however, and the farther from downtown one goes, the less crowded it becomes. Many people surf on this beach.
