Mansa Beach is a calm riverfront beach just off of downtown Punta del Este, on the Rio de la Plata. It's often called the bayside beach. Because of its calm waves, it tends to attract families with children, and it can be very crowded in the summertime, with tourists pouring out of the surrounding high-rises.
