Attraction: State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau

The Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum was established in 1947 on the grounds of the two extant parts of the Nazi-established prison camp, Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau, where the first transport of Polish political prisoner deportees were taken during World War II.
