Fiji's longest beach runs for a few miles along the north shore of Kadavu Island, the fourth largest isle in Fiji. The rainforest touches the sea on most of the squiggly, intricate coastline of Kadavu, making the relatively undeveloped string of sand called Long Beach even more special. A calm, turquoise lagoon fronts the beach with views of the lush neighboring islands as well. Visitors to the beach usually stay at nearby Papageno Resort or Dive Kadavu/Matana Beach Resort. Long Beach itself has snorkeling equipment available for rent and the lagoon is also good for line fishing and kayaking.
