The Turtle Sanctuary was established by Orton "Brother" King, a former turtle diver who has dedicated his life to saving the Hawksbill turtles from extinction. Visitors can view tanks of the turtles in every stage of development from hatchlings to those nearing two years-old. The turtles are released back into the wild after being prepared by Brother King, who has thus far returned over 2,000 turtles back to their natural habitat.
