  • Kokopo is a good place to get your bearings in PNG. You can easily get out of Port Moresby to here; Air Nuigini, the nation's carrier, runs one to two flights daily.
  • Banana boats can be cheaply chartered to any of the neighboring islands or coves. Look for them on the beach by the post office.
