This 12,000-acre preserve stretches along nearly five miles of jagged coast. The 50-foot cliffs over the Atlantic are as spectacular as those on Mt. Desert, but more remote, and less visited.
Several different trails wind through the reserve land and day hikes or overnight trips are possible.
There are three campsites at Long Point Cove. From your tent door you'll look across the Bay of Fundy to the Canadian maritimes.
