- Indigenous Eyes is a 1,500-acre ecological preserve on the grounds of Punta Cana Resort & Club. Guests of the resort have free access, and others may make arrangements with the Punta Cana Ecological Foundation, which charges a reasonable entrance fee.
- This is the most accessible eco-park on the east side of the island, only a 15-minute drive from Punta Cana International Airport.
- Highlights of the reserve include lush tropical foliage, numerous colorful birds, and native wildlife that scamper and slither freely throughout the park.
Take the guided tour along level trails through this coastal forest reserve, and then cool off with a dip in one of the spring-fed lagoons, which native Tainos called "eyes." Each of the lagoons has a Taino name and all are fed by the Yauya River,
