- Other fine beaches with few visitors include Honeymoon (excellent snorkeling), Little Hawksnest, Francis Bay, and Salt Pond Bay (rare pillar coral here). Rangers at the national-park headquarters will provide maps and directions.
One of St. John's loveliest and least visited beaches is Salomon, located between Cruz and Caneel bays and accessed only by trail. This local favorite is also St. John's unofficial nude beach, generously shaded by sea-grape and maho trees.
