This adventure tour company offers a combination of boating and sea kayaking from the home base of their 53-foot schooner, "Anvil Cove." You paddle and hike by day and come back to a warm, dry boat and hearty dinner by night. The operators boast that their guests get to see more and explore more than participants on a usual kayaking tour. There's no packing or unpacking of the kayaks, and you paddle when you want to. The boat has berths for eight guests, a large resource library, and hydrophones for listening underwater. Emphasis is put on the cultural and natural heritage side of the islands. Tours range from six to ten days, with set dates. There is even a ten-day Moresby Circumnavigation tour. Families are welcome; the tour operator has a double kayak.
