An exhilarating ride for the daring, ziplining with Adrena Line Zipline Adventure Tours takes participants to coastal temperate forest where they zip above the trees. The high elevation and fast speed near the end may scare young children. But those with a devil-may-care attitude will love the adrenaline rush of careening as fast as 60 kilometers per hour up to 150 feet off the ground. Ziplining involves gliding along a suspended steel cable, using a pulley and a climbing harness. Participants are outfitted with a harness and trained on safety features before being led into the woods, where eight ziplines and two suspension bridges await. Tour duration is two hours, or three and a half hours with shuttle transportation from Victoria Harbour. Minimum age is five, and children younger than 12 need to be accompanied by a guardian who is at least 15. For extra thrill, night zipping is also available.
