Not your average ice arena, 250,000-square-foot Burnaby 8 has an indoor soccer field, figure skating rink, and six huge competitive rinks for adult and youth hockey leagues, camps, and one-on-one lessons. More than 500 teams duke it out on the ice and soccer field each year.

The facility is a prime location for birthday parties and special events. Its full-service grill house seats 1,000 hungry skaters, and special packages cover all the necessities—pizza, drinks, and gear rental.
