Trail begins: Junction of Fish Creek and Cottonwood Creek Trails (at crossing of Cottonwood Creek)
Trail ends: South Fork of Spread Creek Trail
Attractions: This trail connects with trails in the Moccasin Basin area as well as access to extensive open "play" areas where designated. It begins at the junction of Fish Creek and Cottonwood Creek trails (at crossing of Cottonwood Creek) and ends at the S. Fork of Spread Creek Trail.
Directions: From Jackson, Follow Hwy. 191 north and make a right on Gros Ventre Road. Follow Gros Ventre Road east to the Gros Ventre Trailhead. Follow Gros Ventre trail 19 miles to junction just past Upper Slide Lake. Fish Creek Trail follows left fork across Gros Ventre River past Patrol Cabin Elk Feed ground 4 miles to Cottonwood Creek and trail junction. Cottonwood Trail turns left here, heading generally north along Cottonwood Creek.
