The Laramie Plains Museum is housed in the historic Ivinson Mansion and contains exhibits of pioneer life in Wyoming. Among the many items in the museums are hand-carved furniture made at the Wyoming Territorial Prison, textiles, a formal dining room, a restored drawing room, an extensive photo collection and archives, and memorabilia from early Laramie history.
