Beginning from the southern parking area along Horicon Ternpike Auto Tour, this 0.4-mile easy hike carries visitors through brushland and mostly wetland. Boardwalks ease the wetland experience while providing a close up view of open water and cattail habitat. Sights of egrets, herons, and waterfowl reward the quiet visitor. Pets prohibited. Cross-country skiing is permitted, however, trails are not groomed.
Directions: From Waupun, WI, Travel several miles west along Hwy. 49. Turn right (south) following Horicon Ternpike Auto Tour south approximately 2.25 miles to parking area on right side of road.
