  • Naturalists will groan at the domestication of wild animals as a tourist attraction, but there's no denying that younger kids can't get enough of the 100-plus white-tailed deer who roam this four-block-long sanctuary in search of hand-fed tidbits. Balance your trip there with a visit to the International Crane Foundation, where the plight of endangered wildlife is brought into stark relief.
  • It's not just about deer here. You can also see lemurs, bison, emus, pigs, and other farm animals.
  • Please note that the deer park is not accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
