Don't overlook the well-situated wave pool hidden around the back of the main resort building, which overlooks the Wisconsin River and has cabanas and a poolside grill and snack bar. The scene here is a little mellower than the main outdoor water park.
The bigger slides in Lost Rios are "free-form" and/or height-restricted, so younger non-swimmers can't ride solo. The interactive play area—with slides, water cannons, and tipping buckets—will keep them plenty busy, however!
