This hike is particularly enjoyable during fall foliage. Reflects in Dow Lake given reason to pause.

The 7-mile Lakeview Trail is an excursion along the shoreline of 153-acre Dow Lake. There are several creek crossings and a few rises but nothing difficult or even moderately difficult. The changes add mere interest to the forest, meadow and marsh hike. Indian Mound, Sycamore Valley and Pioneer Cemetery trails are short spurs affording more scenic views and interest. These trails round out your hike to approximately 10 miles.
