Short blue-blazed trail offering much of the same wildlife and plant life as the other trails at Douthat.

Guest Lodge trail is a short 0.4-mile trail located behind the lodge. The trail is blazed in blue and makes for a nice stroll after dining at the lodge.

Directions: From Clifton Forge, VA, From Clifton Forge, Virginia head east on I-64 to Exit 27. Turn North onto Rt. 629 and travel three miles to the park entrance sign and four more miles to the park office. Travel the main park road for a couple miles. Travel past the lake and you will see that the lodge road branches to the right. Follow this road to the parking area and the trail begins behind the lodge.

Elevation Gain: Minimal

Distance: 0.4 miles

Difficulty: Easy
